What Can Be Mistaken For A Hernia

Introduction and summary of the first volume of "The Breton nobility of the ancien regime - evidence and genealogies"

Oyez, oyez, dear surfers.

For those of you who know the works of The Regis Estourbeillon , Gaston de Carne and Count of Rosmorduc on publication of evidence Breton nobility, the following should probably be interested .

genealogy buff, I use my retinas for a few years in libraries and archives in Paris, especially, and Brittany, to a lesser extent. The National Library of France and his Cabinet titles (Cabinet d'Hozier, squares Hozier, Cherin, Folders blue, New Hozier, original parts ...), the National Archives, but also the library of the Arsenal ... I have now pretty well known with regard to their genealogical Breton funds.

I decided, as such, to get into a long-term by issuing, on one hand, evidence of Breton noble families who were made up of the sixteenth to eighteenth century and, on the other hand, genealogies they deliver.

For this I remember the families of strains Breton (Brittany historical course) asserted or adoptions (that is to say, installed for several generations in Britain at the time of making their evidence). Each volume will include forty houses to some 500 pages. I expect to keep a pace of two volumes per year.

The cornerstone of this publication is based on the judgments of the House of the reformation of the nobility of Britain for years 1668-1671 which I have identified to date about 450 copies. To this are added the judgments of the Quartermaster and Parliament of Britain and a host of diverse and varied evidence such as evidence for the Order of Malta, the Royal School of St. Cyr, the pages of Little and the Great Barn, the royal Schools military honors by the Court, military certificates ...

From a selection of evidence, literally reproduced on manuscript sources, I realize the corresponding genealogies for which each individual bearer of the surname subject of genealogy is numbered, where an attempt to identify current localities cited is done as far as possible ... not to mention the making of coats of arms in accordance with these texts.

An index of geographical names and an index of surnames complement each volume.

That's the point.

Ah! I almost forgot the price. It is 65 euros for the first volume (plus 7 euro shipping). Given the initial draw, it seems very correct. So I hope to qualify for your support so that business can go to its end. And remember that photocopying kills the book.

You will find below a summary of this first volume.

Thank you for your attention.

Eric Lorant
